The Banks of the Wabash Chorus presents Gospel in Harmony, featuring special guests, Higher Calling.  $2.00 from every ticket will go to the 14th & Chestnut Community Center.  Dates:  Sat. May 1, 7PM and Sun., May 2, 3PM, at Harmony Hall, 1257 Lafayette Avenue, Terre Haute.  Tickets cost $12.00 per person.  For reservations call 812-232-4926.  Tickets are also available through chorus members and at the dorr.

 

With spring also comes the realization that our college volunteers will be going home. During the month of May we will need extra volunteers to assist with our 3-6 PM after-school program (May 3-May 21). Our summer interns will arrive the last week of May and will be the extra hands that we need! If you are a current volunteer and can help us with another afternoon or if you have never volunteered before and would like a short-term obligation, please call Bill or Stacie at 232-3126.

 

JOIN HANDS WORKDAY is scheduled for this Saturday, May 1 to work on our new playground and community garden. We will be working 8-5 if you can come and help out with that project!

 

GENERAL WORKDAY is scheduled for Saturday, May 15 (9-3). If your small group or congregation would like to come and paint, clean, organize, and help with general repairs, we would really appreciate it. We are trying to get the building in good repair before the start of our 2004 SUMMER JAM program! Please call the Center if your group plans to help on that day!
