The Friendly Benwood Christian Youth Camp is holding an open house at the camp, 10-12-02, 4:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to see what is happening and tour the facilities. There will be food for all. You will be AMAZED!!!!  
Go north of Brazil, IN on SR59 to sign for Van Buren Elementary School and turn east towards school. Go 1 1/2 miles and the camp is on the north side of the road.

BRAZIL, INDIANA - Community Youth Camp
Now under construction.
(free to those that cannot afford to go a camp)

UPDATE ON PROJECT as of 5-12-02
DATE: July 8-20, 2002
LOCATION: Brazil, IN - 50 miles west of Indianapolis or 15 miles east of Terre Haute.
PROJECT: Friendly Benwood Community Christian Youth Camp cabins. Because of time will be limited to framing, setting of windows and doors, running electric, and installing a metal roof.
NEEDED: Workers of all skills.
COST: Your own travel to worksite.
ACCOMMODATIONS:     Meals will be provided at the Benwood Mt. Lebanon Church, which is .5 m. Loding will be provided in area family's home. Also, there is a place for campers and travel trailers.
