Men & Women of Action  Indiana

Jake,

I want to help give a little of myself.  I really enjoyed the youth camp
project last summer in Brazil, IN.  It was wonderful working and meeting all the special people that sacrificed their time to help out.  I really
appreciate all the hard work you put into making that project run so
smoothly.  It was so great to meet the people that drove hundreds of miles to the project without really knowing a whole lot about where they were going. The idea traveling into the unknown and just being there to help really appeals to me.

Next year I want to participate in another such project.  I know you do a lot of projects right here around Indiana, but I would like to take part in a project elsewhere in the USA.  I am thinking somewhere in the range of a 2-10 hour drive.  I like the building projects, it give a sense of accomplishment to see the work progressing.  I checked out the MWOA website, and only see one project that would possibly fit what I am looking for.  That is Woodbury, PA project.  However, I just don't don't have the feeling of release to jump in and sign up for this project just yet.  I will be praying about it.

I was wondering if you knew of any other projects that might fit into my criteria?  After the enjoyment last year, I think it is not really a
sacrifice to give a week of my vacation to help on a worthwhile project
somewhere else.  I hope I am not limiting myself too much by looking outside Indiana.  I know you have a lot of little projects all over Indiana you are organizing.  Maybe that is where I should be focusing.  But the appeal of going somewhere further away just really sounds good to me on a personal level.

Well, let me know what is coming up.  Thanks

Brian A. Meister
