Please pray for the following: |
| |
That the
volunteers and their Russian helpers will divine health
protection, before, during and after the trip.
That Safe passage for everyone going to and from Russia
and to and from the city of Voronezh (pronounced
vah-RONE-ish).
That each team member may acquire a clear vision and a
clear understanding of Russian life and culture free
from preconceived ideas during our initial stay in
Moscow.
That the team will meet and interact with as many
Russians as possible at work, on the street, in
Churches, on trains, in museums and that our whole
demeanor express the love of God.
That each member of the team keeps in mind at all times
that the primary purpose of the trip is to build
relationships and bear witness for Christ-like behavior.
That each member of the team may see the spiritual
strength and love that is inherent in all Russians.
Guidance and enlightenment from the Holy Spirit during
our daily devotions and study of the spiritual food from
the short fragments we are reading from our booklet on
Russian religious writings.
That we take good notes, diary entries, and photographs
so as to come back home with interesting testimonies of
the lives of our brothers and sisters in the body of
Christ and in this way extend the sphere of our
witnessing.
That we have productive and fruitful discussions with
the Russians as to how to shape and improve on our
preliminary Adopt-a-Cabin proposal to completely and
fully restore the campground to its maximum use in the
shortest possible time. |
