Mission
Enable First Permanent Protestant Summer Camp in Russia!
Re-Enable Russian Kids to Experience a Summer Camp
& Introduce Them to the Formerly Forbidden Bible
1. Fact-Finding Team--2 or 3 good workers to take
measurements and evaluate condition of 125 cabins and 48
rooms in guesthouse at campground in Voronezh Russia.
Workers will also check prices for building supplies at
local stores. May 13—28, 2005, approximately $2,100
all-inclusive.
2. Marketing and Promotion Team.--2 or 3 planners
to take the data collected above and design a nationwide
program to raise money to renovate this valuable
property by marketing the concept of Adopt-a-Cabin. We
have evidence that this will attract international
interest. German schoolchildren have already collected
$100,000 toward this project.
3. Educational Opportunities Team—to cooperate
with Russian churches in planning and implementing
innovative and challenging summer camping programs for
children and youth at this renovated campsite. Several
Russian pastors and youth leaders would like to offer
international religious camps where each culture could
show off their cultural heritage. They want Americans to
teach English and creativity. Russians want to teach
chess, soccer, volleyball, horsemanship, and
parachuting.
Planting this perennial
seed may well be the most lasting mission to Russia of
this century.
